Take the next step in growing your career and become an Application Administrator at Colorado Springs Utilities! In this intermediate level job within the Technology Control Portfolio group, you will provide administrative support for the program platform ServiceNow, which is used by multiple departments within the company. Additionally, you will perform ServiceNow development such as designing and implementing new workflows and configurations to meet business requirements including Service Catalog Items, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) automation, Incident, Problem, Change, and other ServiceNow modules.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Provide ongoing end user support for ServiceNow and platform

  • Provide ServiceNow Administration functions such as managing users, workflows, as well as application of patches and upgrades

  • Provide GitHub administration and continual process improvements

  • Automation of Configuration Management Database updates

What would the successful candidate offer? The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 or more years of progressive experience in IT and the ability to demonstrate skill in enterprise application administration, system configuration, user support, scripting, and system integration. In addition, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or closely related field is desirable (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated ability to learn quickly and successfully implement technology to support process improvement and efficiency.
