About the Program:
The Rotational Engineering Program is an 18-month rotation program that provides engineers an opportunity to gain meaningful engineering experience in a variety of departments across Colorado Springs Utilities. Through the rotation you’ll gain technical experience and build your professional network across the organization all while gaining insight into your career passions and preferences.
Starting with a foundational rotation, you’ll gain exposure to the operational areas of Colorado Springs Utilities as well as the supporting business functions that you’ll work with throughout your career. Electrical discipline specific rotation areas will include power generation plants, electric system modeling and operations, and electric system design.
At the completion of the program, in consultation with your manager, you will be aligned to a role within the company that matches your skills, interests and career goals and the needs of the organization.
Who You are... the successful candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and gained strong technical knowledge and problem solving skills. Is someone who likes varied team-oriented work, possess a passion for learning new things, challenges themselves to look at opportunities through a new lens, and a willingness to bring innovative ideas and solutions to different organizational areas.
