Project Controls Coordinator
This is considered a “special” position, which means the person hired will assist with a project for a limited or defined period typically not to exceed twenty-four (24) months.
The Asset Management, Engineering, Project and Program Delivery Department of Colorado Springs Utilities is looking for a dynamic, energetic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. In this role, you will collaborate with team personnel to support the framework, training, and oversight of the asset management lifecycle, from planning through operations and maintenance, for the Water Services Division.

Develop and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6
Generate reports, respond to data, prepare presentations and assist with control activities requests, with a primary focus on supporting the Water Main Replacement Program
Provide team members support to foster accurate project forecasts, documentation, and communication.
Identify scheduling constraints and develop solutions
Demonstrate the ability to model constraints to improve schedule forecasting
Gather, analyze, translate and deliver information in clear, concise and meaningful formats based on specific project and/or program requirements and according to established project control standards and procedures
Communicate closely with stakeholders at the City of Colorado Springs to support the Water Main Replacement Program
Assist the procurement and water laboratory teams as needed

What will it take to be successful in this position? The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, be proficient in the use of Primavera P6 Software, and be familiar with PMI best practices to prioritize and manage projects, programs, and portfolios. Project controls experience is a plus.
