The Facilities Building Maintenance and Services team is seeking a motivated and dynamic professional to join them as a Security Systems Technician . In this role, you will integrate commercial security, access control, CCTV, and all other facility security systems. Installation and service include wiring, hardware, power connections, and network connections.

Your job responsibilities include...
Wiring, installing, programming, and servicing security, camera, intercom, audio/video, and access control systems
Installing new hardware and low-voltage controls
Installing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance and inspections of intrusion detection systems
Adjusting equipment, repairing or replacing inoperative equipment, and testing for operation
Reading blueprints, building, and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs
Documenting work by completing work orders on each job and maintaining files
Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
Transporting tools and materials to various work sites using a company vehicle
Who you are...
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to diagnose electronic access control, as well as identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning or inoperable security equipment. Most people will offer experience in commercial facility security systems (e.g., Avigilon, Pelco), IP cameras, and the installation and maintenance of iSTAR controllers, field devices, and power supplies. Experience with C•CURE 9000 Access Control+ Security Management is also beneficial. In addition to the technical aspects of this job, your strong interpersonal skills allow you to provide exceptional technical support and service to customers, and you are highly safety-oriented, adhering to and performing according to safety policies and procedures.
