Colorado Springs Utilities is actively seeking a Senior Maximo Business Systems Analyst to join our team! The Senior Maximo Business Systems Analyst will serve an instrumental role during the upgrade process (we are moving to 7.6x or higher). You will help transform a growing team of Maximo experts into a state-of-the-art technology operations unit. Your technical expertise will come into play serving as a liaison between business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting Maximo solutions and ensuring solutions meet business requirements. Your experience and insights into best practices, system process configuration, operational efficiencies, leveraging integrated data, and reporting excellence will be highly valued. If you have a strong technical background in Maximo and a passion for delivering innovative enterprise asset management solutions, we want to hear from you!

Job responsibilities include:

  • Maximo application support for Time Entry, Work Orders, Job Plans, PMs, Assets, Scheduling, Purchase Contracts, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Receiving, Request for Quotation, Purchase Card, Invoices, Chart of Accounts, Inventory, Issues and Transfers, and Inventory Planning

  • Assist with organizational structure changes and updates

  • Test modifications and changes to ensure proper functionality

  • Gathering business requirements and support business process improvements

  • Birt and Power BI Reporting Configuration Support

  • Maximo case management, able to work through tasks and issues for the business using the ServiceNow tool

  • Functional understanding and working knowledge of Work and Asset Management (WAM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Time Entry.

  • Skills and knowledge of Work Order Tracking, Job Plans, PMs, Assets, and Scheduling

  • Skills and knowledge of materials management including Inventory, Issues and Transfers, and Inventory Planning.

  • Skills and knowledge of procurement processes such as Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Request for Quotation, Purchase Card, Invoices, Receiving, business financial processes and GL structure.

  • An understanding of Maximo table relationships and database structure
